As an Office Assistant in Facilities Services, you keep the department running smoothly in all areas. From routine duties to impromptu projects, we rely on your flexibility and careful attention to detail, as well as your positive and helpful attitude, in fielding requests from all over campus. Office Assistants are the first point of contact for the department and sometimes also for the College, in person and on the phone. Each day is different, and you will respond to a wide range of questions and requests as they arise. Tasks can include: answering and directing phone calls, emails, and in-person questions, distributing parking permits, issuing keys, managing van reservations, collecting and sorting mail, and other projects as assigned. Students with previous experience in this position may get the opportunity to train new student staff. |
