Skills Acquired or Developed: As a grounds employee, you will get experience working independently as well as in a team. Skills learned range from proper plant care and irrigation repairs, to paver installs and sports field maintenance. Every day brings the opportunity to try something new. You will learn how to prioritize your shift, efficiently schedule your daily tasks, and adapt to new challenges. Job Requirements: - General knowledge of mechanics, gardening, or landscaping work.
- Ability to perform tasks of mowing, operation of simple power and /or hand tools.
- Hours are 6:30am to 3pm Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.
