Job Description

Summer employment working independently in the theater on various maintenance/administrative projects. 

Primary duties include:

  • lighting and sound work
  • summer shop maintainance and organization duties
  • fabrication and maintainence of department equipment and stock

 

Three positions are available for just May 2025 and three positions are available for June-August 2025
Job Requirements
  • Must be able to work independently and with others.
  • Focus and attention to detail a must.
  • Knowledge and comfort with rigging, metal and wood fabrication, theater lighting and sound.
  • Must be comfortable working at height.
  • Must have computer skills and solid organizational skills.
Benefits

Sick and Safe Time

  • Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid. 
  • Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure.
