Project and research assistant for MAX Center over the summer. Remote/hybrid. Total work is approximately 10 hours/week for 10 weeks. Hours per week may vary, depending on agreement with MAX Center supervisors. Accepting job applications through Wednesday, April 9. 1. Research the Study Skills/Academic Coaching webpages at other institutions of higher learning, focusing on two research questions: a. What resources do Study Skills/Academic Coaching webpages make available to students? b. How do these webpages organize their resources? 2. Research best practices in website structure/architecture, with a special focus on best practices for organizing handouts/resources 3. Connect with Macalester Communications (if needed, also ITS and/or DRC) to understand what is possible in creating a website that aligns with Mac standards 4. Compose a short report to present findings and make recommendations for redesign of MAX Center Academic Coaching webpage. This may include creating several mock-ups of possible website resource hubs |
