Summer employment is two sections, in May, after the end of classes, and from June 1-Aug 31. Hours of operation are usually 7:45am-5:00pm Mon-Thur and 7:45am-12:30pm Friday (Summer hours). Summer employment is full-time in person only. During the summer the following duties will apply and will be 38 hours per week: - Provide computer, printer and network support to campus computer users via phone, e-mail, walk-in contact, and field visits. Examples of advanced support include virus removal, data recovery and OS reinstallation, and troubleshooting and researching solutions for more complex issues.
- Select tickets from the queue to work on in a self-directed manner.
- Assist in delivery of college-owned computers.
- Participate in special projects such as writing Help Desk KBs and asset management.
- Other duties as assigned.
