Job Description	Classical Mediterranean and Middle East preceptors assist a faculty member with language instruction in one of the following languages: Arabic, Greek, Hebrew, Latin. Responsibilities may include: attending the class holding tutoring sessions correcting homework providing drop-in hours hosting video showings
Job Requirements	Successful candidates must have taken a 200-level course in the class they are precepting (or equivalent) and earned and A- (3.7) or higher, and have an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher. This is a specialized position. Please note: By applying to be a preceptor, the department of the Classical Mediterranean and Middle East will contact the Title IX and Nondiscrimination Office to inquire about your disciplinary status with the college. Benefits	Sick and Safe Time Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid. Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure. Review the full sick and safe time policy on the Student Employment website.
