Student Staff members are ambassadors of the Latin American Studies Program. Your work and engagement with the Program affect how the campus perceives us. The Office assistant assists the Department Coordinator with office-related tasks. Duties may include, but are not limited to: - Collaborating with faculty and students to shape the direction of the program;
- Community building;
- Maintaining bulletin board and web pages;
- Participating in and taking minutes at meetings;
- Initiating, organizing, and hosting events;
- Managing speaker visits (arranging flight and lodging, securing venues, etc.);
- Producing publicity (flyers, email, web announcements, bulletin boards);
- Providing a link between students and faculty;
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
