Student Staff members are ambassadors of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. Your work and engagement in the Department affect how the campus perceives us. The Office Assistant assists the Department Coordinator with office-related tasks. Duties may include, but are not limited to: - Creating or updating department documentation,
- Creating or updating bulletin boards and flyers,
- Running campus errands,
- Filing,
- Managing correspondence,
- Helping with event coordination and other duties as assigned,
- Planning and running student events such as Hora de Cultura, Mesa de Conversación, etc.
- Provide an inclusive, mindful, welcoming and open work environment.
