Job Description	We are looking to hire Lifeguards for the Summer (May 13 - September 1, 2025)! Lifeguards oversee a number of activies that take place in the Riley Pool at the Leonard Center. We offer flexible scheduling and a fun work environment! Responsibilites include but not limited to: Open lap and swim hours Monday through Friday Lifeguard for pool rentals scheduled in pool Other duties as assigned by Aquatics Supervisor Hours: The pool has open afternoon lap swim hours from 11:00-1:00PM M-F, evening lap swim hours 6:00-7:30PM M&W and a pool rental 6:30-8PM T/TH & 10-11:30AM Sunday . Preference is given to individuals that can work all these shifts. However, we are willing to work with you based on your schedule.
Job Requirements	Must be Red Cross certified as a Lifeguard by the start date of the position Re-Certification for lifeguarding is available as needed (can be renewed 30 days past expiring) at no additional cost!
Benefits	Sick and Safe Time Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid. Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure. Review the full sick and safe time policy on the Student Employment website.
