The Bike Share Coordinator is responsible for running the Macalester Bike Share program and coordinating all things related to transportation outreach. The incumbent must work well with numerous stakeholders throughout the campus community including, but not limited to, Library, Facilities Services, and Sustainability Office; they are also expected to be an active member and contributor to the work of the other student employees in the Sustainability Office. The Bike Share Coordinator shall maintain the Bike Share by: - Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all bikes in the Bike Share.
- Repair bikes that are out of service.
- Check with the Library's designated professional staff liaison not less than once per week.
- Develop outreach programs for alternative transportation for the Macalester community.
