Job Description	The Student Photographer is responsible for carrying out photographic assignments for Communications and Marketing. The individual will photograph various activities and events portraying student life for use in college publications, social media, and on the college’s website. They will have the opportunity to work directly with campus partners/clients and build their portfolio. This position requires a highly responsible, flexible, and dependable student. Skills Acquired or Developed on the Job: Opportunity to work one-on-one with a professional photographer, gaining hands-on experience, and building a professional portfolio. Collaborate closely with campus partners/clients and the Communications and Marketing staff, gaining valuable team-building experience.
Job Requirements	Qualifications: Have strong photography skills and experience with digital SLR cameras Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Ability to work independently, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlines Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to shoot some assignments on evenings and weekends as well as work in the office on weekdays Creative and self-motivated Responsibilities Take photographs, as assigned, by Communications and Marketing staff and turnaround images in a short amount of time Suggest opportunities for images that would be interesting to prospective and current students Be responsive, show up on time, and meet deadlines Process images and tag appropriately
Benefits	Sick and Safe Time Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid. Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure. Review the full sick and safe time policy on the Student Employment website.
