Job Description
  • Assist faculty with organization of Anthropology classroom sessions, including prior to, during, and after class.
  • Grading assignments.
  • Moderating student group discussions on assigned readings during seminar based classroom sessions.
  • Advise students on the preparation of writing assignments related to various topics throughout the semester.
Job Requirements
  • Must have successfully completed the course to be precepted with a A- or better.
  • For 200 level courses and above, must have successfully completed an Anthropology 200-level course with an A- or better.
  • For 200 level courses and above, participation in at least a semester abroad is also desirable.
  • 6 to 12 hours hrs/week; if more hours needed to complete award, can apply to work as Anthropology office assistant.
