The student manager will be responsible for many aspects of the operations of the Art and Art History Department shops and studios. This person will also be responsible for safety monitoring and assisting with shop operations. Duties include, but not limited to: Monitoring safe use of tools and equipment Helping with routine maintenance and organization of studio spaces and equipment Assisting with additional trainings and demos with staff and student users Daily cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment, Reporting equipment problems or other issues to Art and Art History staff Attend and observe safety traing courses Using and maintaining the laser cutter An interest in learning about more advanced techniques and equipment
