A Japanese Tutor has taken courses or has equivalent experience in Japanese language to assist students. Advanced oral and written knowledge of Japanese is required. Qualifications necessary to perform the duties of this position are: - Fluency in both English and Japanese
- Tutors should be able to read authentic Japanese text
- Tutors should be able to discuss complex matters in formal and informal registers
- Able to organize effectively
- Reliability
Tutors will demonstrate intercultural knowledge and competence and engage community. Single semesters available; please indicate in notes.
