Required Duty: - Set up, monitor, and clean up the weekly Geology/Physics Departmental Tea
- Make hot water and coffee, prep tea snacks, stock tea cart supplies, clean up dishes and cart
- Requires availability from 2:15-4:15pm Wednesdays
Additional Tasks: - Assist department coordinator, faculty and staff with office maintenance, copying, and special projects
- Errands on and off campus including mail pick up and delivery
- Reliably complete the additional tasks assigned you on the daily job list
- Special projects will be assigned based on student worker interest and abilities, such as social media and web updates, scanning slides, word processing and data entry, etc.
- Set up and take down special events such as Geology Department BBQs
- Greet and respond to visitor inquiries
The ideal candidate will be available for three 2-hour shifts spread across three different days per week (i.e. M/W/F or T/W/TH), for a total of approximately 6 hours per week. Wednesday afternoon shift time is non-negotiable, but other shifts can be schedule around student worker availability. |
