Job Description	General duties entail: Working closely with History Professors and Department Coordinator to assist with research projects. Finding information online and in library resources. Organizing, summarizing, and tracking the information to provide useful content for requester. Projects may include transcription (typing to convert hand-written documents to e-documents) and/or translation.
Job Requirements	Ability to work well independently, with good attention to detail. Familiarity with search tools, resources, and databases. Competence with Microsoft Office or Google document programs. Ability to synthesize written materials. Competency in language(s) beyond English is a plus. This is a specialized position that requires the successful completion of previous classes in the department, including HIST 290. Preference to students with work study award.
Benefits	Sick and Safe Time Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid. Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure. Review the full sick and safe time policy on the Student Employment website.
