Job Description |
Stock and restock plates, silverware, tumblers and coffee mugs during meal periods to each station as needed Refill coffee station as needed, assist in refilling Bakery case Restock and maintain bread, cereal areas, milk and juice dispensers Maintain the overall cleanliness of the Cafe during meal periods Serve food from assigned stations Assist fellow team members with the set-up, reset and/or break down of the Cafe before, between and after each meal period Be courteous and helpful with all customer requests, resolve customer concerns to the best of their abilities, seek assistance from management or supervisors as needed

Job Requirements |
Ability to interact with a diverse customer base during both slow periods and times of high volume in a courteous and efficient manner Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed Ability to work both independently on tasks and within a team environment to ensure proper operation Follow policies and procedures as they pertain to food handling, including the use of proper personal protection equipment (cut glove, etc.) when preparing foods and cleaning Ability to be flexible in order to meet the ever changing demands of the unit’s operations Ability to stand for a long period of time (2-4 hours)

Sick and Safe Time - Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid.
