Residential Life is hiring a Programming Assistant for the spring, 2022 semester. Training will start on January 21st and the role will begin on January 24th.
The Programming Assistant (PA) position is a part-time, student staff member of the Department of Residential Life. PAs are responsible for coordinating, marketing, implementing, and assessing social programming in the residence halls. PAs utilize various google suite platforms (email, calendar, forms, sheets, docs, etc.) to obtain and pass along information related to social programming. PAs will work with Resident Assistants (RAs) and professional staff to ensure that attendance and assessment of the learning strategies are tracked. Programming Assistants report directly to a Residence Hall Director.
Track Community Learning Model (CLM) Learning Strategy assessment for the area
Collect and organize artifacts for both social and CLM programming including photos, reflections, themes, etc.
Work with Residential Life staff to coordinate social programming
Manage hall pages and events online through Presence software
Submit social intake requests for both social and CLM programming
Maintain communication with supervisor and Residential Life staff
Complete other programming projects as needed
