Job Requirements: - Priority is given to applicants with a student employment award through financial aid
- Seeking students with an interest in working in an office setting
- A strong ability to collaborate with and communicate with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Ability to use computer and software programs of Microsoft such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Google Suite
- Knowledge on basic use of Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe Professional is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of standard office procedures: typing, copying, correspondence, scanning etc.
- Good organizational skills
- Personal courtesy in meeting and greeting visitors; mature demeanor appropriate to an office setting
- Interest in majoring or minoring Political Science strongly recommended but not required
- Work hours should be scheduled from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Occasional (on average, once per month) work opportunity after 4:30 p.m. for department sponsored events is needed.
