The Outdoor Gear Manager (OGM) plays an integral role in the management of the Outdoor Gear Room. This position is a part of the Campus Center and will report directly to the Coordinator of Campus Center Programs and Services Position Responsibilities: Coordinate gear management and maintenance Coordinate gear check-in and check-out schedule and process Run monthly "Fireside Chats" workshop with basic gear instructions for those looking to learn more about outdoor equipment, hiking, etc. Provide training and instructions to participants who check out on gear Maintain an accurate and up-to-date gear inventory Follow-up and create reports as needed for non-returned gear Manage and maintain office space Hold and publish standard office hours Attend weekly 1:1 meetings with supervisor Work with Outing Club executives as needed to review, repair, and update gear Document workflow and record in Handbook Complete special projects as needed and assigned
