A/V services is looking for Student AV Technicians to assist with live events on campus. Experience with events and/or A/V equipment is great, but not necessary. We can teach you what you need to know. Students will be responsible for Setting up, monitoring, operating, and breaking down AV equipment supporting live events on campus at Macalester. This equipment includes, but is not limited to microphones, speakers, projectors, and video and audio recording equipment such as cameras and sound recorders. Providing excellent customer service to event planners. Troubleshooting equipment during events Documenting any issues that arise during events as well as what troubleshooting steps have been taken. Assisting with the testing and maintenance as needed with A/V equipment. Editing video and audio recordings in Premiere as needed for events
