Job Description	The Costume Technician works in the Costume Shop under the direct supervision of the Costume Shop Manager. The technician will build the costumes for the various performances in the department. Technicians will be trained in a number of areas which may include, but are not limited to: stitching, dyeing and painting, hair and makeup, laundry and wardrobe duties, and maintenance of our costume storage.
Job Requirements	Able to adjust to shifting priorities and variable work flow. Able to work under strict deadlines. Interest and/or involvement in theater and/or dance productions a plus. Engaged with learning and improving skills in the realms of costumes, and shop work. Self motivated; able to work on projects with a minimum of supervision. Able and willing to take direction and feedback. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Students with a student employment award are prioritized for this role.
Benefits	Sick and Safe Time Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid. Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure. Review the full sick and safe time policy on the Student Employment website.
