Job Description

This position is for the period from September 3, 2024 to May 12, 2025.

 

Student fundraisers are Macalester's ambassadors to students, alumni, parents, and friends of the college. At the Mac Fund, students build relationships with our community members and fundraise for Macalester. We also have a fun working environment and provide snacks! In addition, student supervisors help to run Outreach Center shifts, answer phones, and work on other projects. 

 

Applicants with work-study awards and who have worked in the Macalester Fund Outreach Center previously will be given preference.

Job Requirements

  • Comfortable communicating with Macalester community members through phone calls, and writing 

  • Students must work between 8-11 hours per week

  • Ability to work weekday evening shifts

  • Positive attitude about the Macalester experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Consistency and reliability

  • Friendly and positive attitude
