.The Geography Department seeks a social media and newsletter assistant to help with our social media efforts and the writing, editing and production of our department newsletter The Graticule. Working with the Department Coordinator to build and execute a social media strategy for the Geography Department via social media outlets. Generating, editing, publishing and sharing content spotlighting department faculty, staff, students, alumni, courses, and social events. Social Media - a weekly post re-capping and looking forward to Geography related happenings
- digitally capture and post department events – speakers, field studies, career panels, etc.
The Graticule - assist with the development and distribution of the Geography Department newsletter The Graticule (2 issues per semester)
- write 2-3 300- 450 word stories per issue
