Job Description

Get paid to have fun and represent Macalester and march in the Grand Old Day parade on Sunday, June 1st from 8:45am-11:45am. Individuals must be able to walk 2.5 miles at a slow pace and in the heat of summer. Group will hand out pencils and candy to people watching the parade. Vans will shuttle from campus to the start of the parade. Extended shifts are available. 
Job Requirements

Outgoing personality to engage with people and make the parade route fun. Ability to walk the length of the parade route in all weather and potentially carry a flag.

Sick and Safe Time

  • Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid. 
  • Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure.
