The Production Management Student Worker works directly with the Theatre and Dance Production Manager to oversee and coordinate the logistics of events, workshops, shows and other productions within the Theatre and Dance Department. They are responsible for data management, space bookings, preparing spaces, arranging staffing and coordinating smooth communication between all relevant parties. During the summer, most of the focus is on managing data and preparing for the upcoming season (called "Advancing the season"). Under the supervision of the Production Manager, this position will be: Managing databases of interested and currently active students engaged in the production, design and technical side of live events in the Theatre and Dance department. Managing calendars for the four (4) performance and event spaces in the THDA department. Assist with the reservation and use of venues in the THDA department. Gathering and recording information for the courses, productions and events in the THDA department, across multiple venues, with a minimum of four (4) venues. Managing information flow for the courses, productions, workshops and events in the THDA department, across multiple venues, with a minimum of four (4) venues, including for publicity, technical and design, and performer needs. Coordinating the logistic needs of guest artists, faculty, staff and students involved with events including mainstage courses, productions, events, workshops and more. Preparing calendars, staffing and materials for the productions, courses, workshops and events in the THDA department scheduled for the upcoming academic year. Sorting, organizing and labelling data, including but not limited to Shared Drives, archival photos and videos, and organizational paperwork, from the previous academic year.
